One of the global leaders in automotive components has been patronizing WWL for the past 24 years, placing complete trust in us for their supply chain needs. We have never let them down, consistently thinking from the perspective of their production planning team while designing solutions for them, whether it be international logistics, domestic customs clearance, or last-mile deliveries.
Recently, due to a sudden change in the readiness timeline of their project machinery at the last minute, our flight planning for an odd-sized, over-dimensional item had to be canceled. This unexpected change posed a fresh challenge: identifying alternate plans to deliver to their India plant without compromising the inauguration of their new line. This project was so critical that it was directly monitored by the Managing Director.
WWL quickly coordinated with the customer and our office in Germany, along with other stakeholders including carriers, the Customs clearance team in Bangalore, and transportation teams. Together, we achieved something remarkable. We delivered the project to their facility within 72 hours, helping the customer avoid penalty clauses from their client.
Upon delivery, the customer was overjoyed. The Managing Director personally expressed his satisfaction with WWL’s performance. The customer went a step further and invited our employees, led by our Vice President, to their facility for a recognition event.
