At WWL, we strongly believe in bridging the gap between academia and industry by engaging with young talent and sharing practical industry insights.

As part of this commitment, our HR team recently participated in an insightful guest lecture session on “Employability within Logistics and Career Readiness” at the Indian Institute of Logistics, Chennai.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Kabeerudeen and Mr. Michael Stevenson from our HR team for sharing their valuable industry perspectives, practical experiences, and career guidance with the students.

We got to understand from the board of the Institution that the session offered meaningful insights into the evolving logistics landscape, workplace readiness, industry expectations, and the key competencies required to build successful careers in logistics and supply chain management. Students actively engaged during the interaction and gained a broader understanding of real-world industry challenges, professional skills, and emerging career opportunities beyond academics.

We are delighted to know that the session encouraged students to think beyond academics and better understand the practical demands and opportunities within the logistics industry.

We also thank the management and students of the Indian Institute of Logistics for their warm hospitality and enthusiastic participation.

Such initiatives reflect our continued dedication towards nurturing young talent and contributing to the development of future-ready professionals for the logistics industry.
